3.1 Dealing with EAR Data
You are now ready to learn about managing your data, including understanding and sharing your data. In this section you will learn about documenting, organising and analysing data. This is a crucial part of the EAR methodology because it allows you and your ICT initiative to use the data you have collected in locally relevant ways to improve its activities.
You will do this through the following process:
- Documenting data
- Organising data: labelling and coding
- Analysing data: Managing codes, developing themes
- Research findings, planning and action
We will go through each of these steps in this section, using the data you collected in the main toolbox exercise.
